TRH the Prince and Princess of Asturias travelled to Hamburg yesterday morning for a quick trip.  The reason of the trip was to officially inaugurate the fifth German Cervantes Institute.

From their web site:

The Instituto Cervantes was created in Spain in 1991 to promote the Spanish language and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.  Our Head Office is in Madrid and Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), the birthplace of the writer Miguel de Cervantes.

The Instituto Cervantes has over seventy centres in four continents.

The Prince and Princess arrived at the building where the new Institute it’s located, the Chilehaus, and greeted the crowds before entering:

Once inside the building, Felipe delivered a speech, unveiled the plaque commemorating the opening and Their Royal Highnesses toured the instalations:
