The second day of the trip to Girona was packed with activities related to the Impulsa Forum. Impulsa is the Spanish word for Impulse. This forum lasted the whole day, it was opened at 9.45 am by the Prince of Asturias and Girona and closed at 20.30 after the Impulsa Awards were delivered by TRH the Prince and Princess.
The Forum seeks to bring together, in a single place, a selection of worldwide experiences with the aim of discovering best practices, creating in this way a favorable attitude with respect to initiative and effort in youth, an attitude that will help young people to develop their talents and to make their dreams come true.
IMPULSA seeks to connect experienced professionals with restless young people and combine the formers’ experience with the latters’ energy. The IMPULSA project catalyzes the emergence of “impetus-givers” who can act as agents of change through their respective responsibilities, and enterprising young people who put the inspiration and contacts from the IMPULSA process to advantage to turn their ideas into projects. IMPULSA seeks to generate a dialogue with the final goals of connecting established talent with emerging talent and of channeling the final outcome to society as a whole.
